Mack's Wrestling Tournament

oops...I uploaded the pictures backwards! Oh well. Mack has been doing the Little Panther wrestling at the high school. It's been a really fun thing for him to be a part of. He's learned a lot and he's enjoyed practices (2 a week). We didn't take him to any of the away tournaments, but we did participate at the one our school hosted.

Here are some pictures from that day.

Mack won his first match, by points, and lost his second match, by points. His hand is marked as follows: P, for preschool age; 43 lbs. the black mark is from winning the first match and the red mark is from losing his second match. He was almost more proud of the markings on his hand than he was the medal!!

He put up a pretty good "wrestle", as he did not get pinned!

This is the start of match #2, the other wrestler obviously had done wrestling before, he knew a few more tactics than Mack!

This is a picture of his first match. Both of these boys are on our hometown team, but Mack has never "won" him at practice, so he was pretty excited to be able to win during the tourny.

Here's a group shot. Not the best, but the good one, Mack wasn't looking. He's on the front row, far left, white socks to his knees...ya, that's him!!

He had a dang good time and hopes to wrestle again next year!
