The kids got all DOLLED up to go and get some bum lambs TODAY. They got the garden area ready with a STRAW house and everything. When they got to Siddoway's there weren't any available. WHAT? There are always BUM LAMBS available...oh well, I guess we'll TRY AGAIN another day. The kids were BUMMED! (Ha, ha, ha! No pun intended :-)
These pics are from last year, lambing...THEY ABSOLUTELY LOVE having them...for the FIRST week. Then, it's WORK, and it's a CHORE just to get them to go and feed the HUNGRY buggers...which turns into a bigger chore for DAD and MOM.
I am excited for them to have an OUTDOOR chore though. It's TIME to get back OUTSIDE!

For sure! That is so nice to have a chore for the kids. I've got to think of one for Eli to do....Keep us posted for when you get the new lambs this year!
We always had bum lambs too. I just remember them being SO hungry all the time!
Those pictures bring back memories. The little lambs are always kind of fun to feed, but as they get bigger, they turn into such pigs. They would probably knock your little kids over.

It is definitely time to be outside!! Now we just need to remind the "weather man" of that! :) Hope you find some bum lambs to love and fatten up! :) :) So glad you're a "blogger" now :)
Well, in response to Battfam...these little lambs did grow up to be quite big, and Mack loved to wrestle them and bully them a bit. They did knock him over a few times, but they sure made him smile and giggle.
