...even though I get lost out here in my own world! We've been having such a fun summer. We've been busy and we've loved every minute of it! Some highlights and some updates since my last post:
*Got to go to Driggs to see Glenn Beck! We love him!! He was AWESOME and so PATRIOTIC. Right up our alley! It was gorgeous. A little chilly, but super fun evening.
*We've been to a couple Chukars games! The kids really enjoyed them.
*We've welcomed two new nieces: Janie Allen (June, but forgot to post) and Brinley Parker(July).
*We've enjoyed borrowing a waterslide blow-up toy from Gpa and Gma Parker. We've had a riot with it. The kids have loved it. I've got some awesome pictures and videos, but honestly, it takes too long to upload. sorry.
*2nd Crop is in the stack.
*Taylor's sisters and their families came for 2 weeks to play. (I don't have many pictures here though, but am awaiting a CD with pictures and videos...thanks Mardi. I probably won't post them though once I get them, so go check out her blog!!)
*My sister and her family came from Michigan. I haven't seen them in 3 1/2 years, so it was SUPER nice to see them and to spend a few days with them while they were here.
*My brother came from Italy to be home for our reunions. It was great to see him again too!
*We had a Wheeler reunion where out of 101 of us...there were 98 of us!!! It was super fun. We celebrated Gpa and Gma's 75th birthdays. It was a huge day of activities and visiting. It will probably never happen again...I just don't know. I'm so grateful to everyone who put that on AND made the effort to be there!
*My computer got shut down and had to go to the doctor. It had some MAJOR viruses on it. The doctor was the best and did an awesome job. We're up and running again...but still probably won't get better blogging and such!
*I realize why I'm such a crappy blogger: I'd rather post pictures than have to think of things to write, so I take a TON of pictures, but then they take so long to upload and such that I lose interest and then I just don't do it at all. Sheesh...
*The Trampoline:
So, Uncle Jay came and took his trampoline to take to his new place in Idaho Falls. Trixie had such a hard time. She was bawling /screaming through the glass sliding door, "No, don't take my trampoline!" She was distraught!! She cried the whole time (20 minutes or more) they were taking it down and loading it up. I was trying to explain to her that it wasn't our trampoline that we were blessed to be able to even jump on it while Uncle Jay had left it here...blah, blah, blah. She didn't quite understand. Well, that same evening we actually went to a Furness picnic at Uncle Jay's new place. She saw the tramp and said, "There's my tramp." I thought she'd forget, but as we were getting ready to leave, she asked me if we were going to take the trampoline home. She was pretty upset that we weren't and that he was going to leave it there for his grandchildren to jump on when they came to visit.
So, this is a picture of my kids jumping on the trampoline back in June. They LOVE the trampoline. She really was pretty disappointed. Anyway, what did I do? I jumped onto craigslist and found a trampoline available in Idaho Falls!!! I went and looked at it and that's what I got for my birthday this year!!!

I don't have pictures of the kids on it yet, but Taylor tried it out and says it's a pretty good one! Boy was I lucky to come across such a find. Really...it's in great condition. Only 3 years old, came with the mats. The main use for it at the last users: sun tanning!!! SWEET!

So, Trixie has recovered from her loss of a trampoine. I tell ya...that backyard just seemed bare without one, so I'm really glad I was able to find such a great deal!!!
Some more things we've done:
*Mack got to mutton bust again. He loved it.
*Sleep-overs galore with cousins; both sides of the family. My kids weren't quite played out, but they sure were exhausted when we finally got home and got back into our own thing.
*Happy Birthday to me!
*Grain is done.
*The kids are growing up so quickly. They're at such a fun stage; playing together and just really enjoying each other. Keeping each other company and such. Colt isn't walking yet, but he's walking along furniture and standing himself up in the middle of the room or yard...just not ready to take those steps!
I hope this entry finds everyone doing well. I'll try to get caught up on everyone's blogs and what you're doing. I'm so far behind...it'll take me a while, I'm sure. Take care.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!
